Maaf mau nanya jual nga buku tentang semua itu bahasa inggris
Sayangnya saya gak jual buku Faisal 🙁
perbedaan penggunaan kata “have/has/had” dan “got” yang berarti “punya” itu apaan ya?
terus emangnya “do” bisa dipake buat “he”? bukannya harusnya make “does”?
saya nemunya di salah satu adegan serial TV Amerika
“he don’t look black, dad”
“yeah dad, he don’t look black”
^ these wasn’t racist btw :3
Hi My Mom Said I Didn’t Deserve to Have a Name,
1. Ada contoh kalimatnya?
2. He don’t grammatically not correct karena ga sesuai dengan subject-verb agreement (hindari di formal writing, interview) tapi masi digunakan untuk sekedar casual conversation di dialek tertentu.
1. I got these pens , I got an advice, etc. (lupa :3)
itu juga ane dapet dari film atau serial, banyak yg kalimatnya “got” di subtitlenya berarti “punya” atau sejenisnya
2. jadi intinya itu cuma bahasa gaul atau slang ya?
1. Hmm… kalo di contoh itu, tipe verb nya beda, “get” masuk ke action verb, sedangkan “have” ke stative verb. Pada get ada aksi yang dilakukan (taking possession), padanan katanya: to earn, to receive, to buy, sedangkan ketika pake have, sekedar statement tentang kepemilikin, ga ada aksi yang terkandung di verb itu.
Lihat:

2. Iyah slank itu 🙂
sis, ada gak artikel tentang grammar “keep”?
ane masih bingung ama penggunaan kata sesudahnya, misal Keep Smiling, Keep Updating, Keep Running (belakangnya ada akhiran -ing), tapi ada juga yg gak pake -ing kayak Keep Calm
itu peraturannya gimana ya?
Hi Noob,
Belum ada yang khusus bahas verb “keep” sih..
Beberapa yang sudah saya tulis, verb “keep” bisa dikombinasikan dengan preposition membentuk phrasal verb:
*Keep on (phrasal verb, intransitive) (+gerund) = continue (melanjutkan). c/ keep on running
*Keep up (phrasal verb, transitive, separable) = maintain (mempertahankan). c/ keep your spirits up
*Keep at (phrasal verb, intransitive) = persevere in an action. c/ keep at it
“keep” juga mungkin diikuti adjective: keep calm, keep warm
ketika “keep” bermakna “continue” mungkin diikuti verb-ing (gerund) atau on + verb-ing: keep smiling
Coba lihat ini:

bbc.co.uk/worldservice/learningenglish/grammar/learnit/learnitv292.shtml
buat gambaran umum materi english itu dikategori apa ya?
mohon balasannya
thanks
