Pengertian Evaluative Adverb

Evaluative adverb adalah adverb (kata keterangan) yang menambahkan informasi berupa sikap speaker atau writer terhadap suatu kejadian.

Adverb ini biasanya berada di luar clause, tepatnya di depan kalimat, untuk menerangkan kalimat secara keseluruhan. Selain di depan kalimat, kata yang dikenal pula dengan sebutan evaluation adverb dapat menempati posisi setelah subject dimana sering diapit koma.
