Pengertian “be about to”

Be about to (am/is/are about to) merupakan frasa bahasa Inggris yang digunakan untuk membicarakan hal-hal yang akan terjadi atau dilakukan dengan sangat segera. Pada past tense, be (was/were) about to mengarah pada hal-hal yang akan terjadi namun pada akhirnya tidak terjadi. Be about to sering digunakan dengan adverb of time just.
