Opposite / In Front Of (Preposition): Penggunaan dan Contoh Kalimat

Pengertian dan Penggunaan Opposite dan In Front Of

Opposite dan in front of sama-sama digunakan sebagai preposition of place (kata depan untuk menunjukkan tempat). Keduanya sering membingungkan di dalam Bahasa Inggris.

Opposite berarti “on the other side of somebody or something, and usually facing them” (di sisi lain seseorang atau sesuatu, dan biasanya berhadapan dengan mereka), sementara in front of “ahead of somebody or something” (di depan seseorang atau sesuatu). Antonim dari in front of adalah behind (di belakang).
