Pengertian Yoke dan Yolk

Yoke dan yolk merupakan dua kata Bahasa Inggris yang pelafalannya mirip namun artinya berbeda.

Sebagai noun (kata benda) yoke berarti “a wooden beam fastened over the necks of two oxen or other animals to enable them to pull heavy loads” (sebuah balok yang dipasang di atas leher lembu atau hewan lainnya untuk memungkinkannya untuk menarik beban berat). Yoke sebagai verb (kata kerja) bermakna “to put a yoke on two animals” (menempatkan kuk pada dua hewan). Sementara yolk yang hanya berfungsi sebagai noun bermakna “the yellow part of an egg” (kuning telur).
