Rumus Wh- Question dengan Simple Future Tense

Berikut beberapa rumus wh- question (pertanyaan yang dimulai dengan what, where, when, why, which, who, whose, atau how) dengan simple future tense yang dibentuk dari modal “will” atau “shall” + bare infinitive atau phrasal modal “be (am/is/are) going to” + bare infinitive.

1. Kalimat Positif (+)

   S + be + going + infinitive

   Kalimat Interogatif (?)

   menanyakan subject

   • Who/What + am/is/are going to + bare infinitive
   • Whose/Which + noun + am/is/are going to + bare infinitive

   menanyakan object

   Who/What + am/is/are + S + going to + bare infinitive

   menanyakan adverb

   When/Where/Why + am/is/are + S + going to + bare infinitive

2. Kalimat Positif (+)

   S + will + bare infinitive

Contoh Kalimat Wh- Question dengan Simple Future Tense

1. The teacher is going to meet the student’s parents next week.
   (Guru akan menemui orang tua siswa itu minggu depan.)

   menanyakan subject

   Who is going to meet the student’s parents next week?
   (Siapa yang akan menemui orang tua siswa itu minggu depan?)

   menanyakan object (possessive)

   Whose parents is the teacher going to meet next week?
   (Orang tua siapa yang akan guru temui minggu depan?)

   menanyakan adverb

   • Why is the teacher going to meet the student’s parents next week?
     (Mengapa guru akan menemui orang tua siswa itu minggu depan?)
   • When is the teacher going to meet the student’s parents?
     (Kapan guru akan menemui orang tua siswa itu?)
2. The package will arrive tomorrow.
   (Paket akan tiba besok.)

   menanyakan subject

   What will arrive tomorrow?
   (Apa yang akan tiba besok?)

   menanyakan adverb

   When will the package arrive?
   (Kapan paket akan tiba?)

3. The bus will come at 10.
   (Bus akan datang jam 10.)

   menanyakan adverb

   What time will the bus come?
   (Jam berapa bus akan datang?)
