Rumus Yes-No Question Past Continuous Tense

Kalimat positive past continuous tense menggunakan linking verb “be” (was/were) sebagai komponen verb phrase-nya. Yes-no question dapat dibuat dengan menukar posisi subject of verb (S) dan be.

Kalimat Positive

S + be (was/were) + present participle

Yes-No Question

Be (was/were) + S + present participle

Catatan:

  • was untuk subject “I” dan third person singular (Jessica, a woman, she, he, it)
  • were untuk “you” dan plural subject (Jessica and I, we, they)
