Pengertian Person (Grammar)
Person yang merupakan salah satu cara penggolongan pronoun (kata ganti), berguna untuk menunjukkan agreement (persesuaian) antara subject – verb dan pronoun – antecedent.
First person mengarah kepada speaker (pembicara) atau writer (penulis), second person mengarah kepada hearer (pendengar) atau reader (pembaca), sedangkan third person mengarah kepada orang yang dibicarakan selain first person dan second person.

Contoh Kalimat First, Second, Third-Person Pronoun dan Artinya
- I‘d love to fix your computer.
(Saya akan senang memperbaiki komputermu.) first - He told me that the police couldn’t arrest him without a warrant.
(Dia mengatakan pada saya bahwa polisi tersebut tidak dapat menangkapnya tanpa surat perintah.) first - Atiek is a friend of mine.
(Atiek adalah teman saya.) first - You have no choice other than that.
(Kamu tidak punya pilihan lain selain itu.) second - It’s very sharp. You might cut yourself if you’re not careful.
(Itu sangat tajam. Kamu mungkin dapat melukai dirimu sendiri jika tidak hati-hati.) second - Is this yours?
(Apakah ini milikmu?) second - He gets angry so easily.
(Dia sangat mudah marah.) third - I didn’t find it interesting.
(Saya tidak merasa itu menarik.) third - This bracelet is hers.
