Trmksih kak, postingannya sgt bermanfaat, Tetapi maaf kak, sy sedikit mengkritisi di contoh kalimat relative pronoun no.2
The person who you met yesterday…..
      Seharusnya
The person whom you met yesterday…..
Karena aturan who dgn whom berbeda, setelah whom harus ada subject lagi…
Itu yg sy pahami, mhn maaf klw pemahaman sy kurang…????

    2. Wilma Yulia

Halo Ida…maaf banget baru balas 🙁

Secara grammatical, who digunakan sebagai subjek kalimat, sedangkan whom sebagai object dari verb/preposition pada suatu relative clause. Namun pada masa kini, untuk everyday conversation (bukan formal writing), whom biasanya diganti who. Tapi emang whom lebih formal dari who sih Ida.

She was with her husband, who I had already met. https://www.macmillandictionary.com/dictionary/british/who

Memang sebaiknya saya kasih info tambahan (sudah saya masukkan kurung), kasihan juga kalo jadi ada yang disalahkan karena pakai “who”. Makasih ya sudah dikritisi. 🙂 Oh ya untuk tes2 ujian sih mungkin ambil aman aja ya sesuai grammar 😀
